The Application:

  • To provide a Rotary Valve or Blowing Seal to efficiently process products whose characteristics mean they can compact and stick in standard ‘V’ shaped pockets..

The requirement:

  • To supply rotary valves or blowing seals which stop products like carbon black, titanium dioxide, starch and milk powder from compacting and sticking in the pockets within the valve.

The solution:

  • Our solution is to produce a scalloped rotor which can be installed into our entire range of valves.

The result:

  • The round profile of the scalloped pocket helps mitigate packing and promotes effective pocket emptying at the valve outlet.
