Improving our Dedication to Stainless Steel
With an increasing demand for hygienic valves for the pharmaceutical industry, we were having to frequently clean our machining tools to avoid cross contamination. This additional cleaning was increasing the production times on our range of stainless steel valves. We therefore saw the need to improve our production facilities to reduce production time and increase efficiency.
After much discussion, investment, and training, we opened a new, dedicated non-ferrous unit to house all Stainless-Steel production. With a separate loading bay, storage, machining centre, and assembly area, we have cut down the risk of cross contamination considerably. The addition of a new Mazak Multi Pallet Machining Centre, for Stainless-Steel exclusively, has cut down the time it takes to machine our Valves.
