At Rotolok we take great pride in the robust quality of our range of valves and the whole-life value they offer to our customers.
This was brought home to us recently when we were contacted by a customer in Sweden who was seeking spares for a rotary valve handling hot fly-ash at an energy plant. When asked for details of the valve the customer sent us a picture of the nameplate which confirmed that the valve was one of the earliest valves produced by Rotolok back in 1977.
The valve had been performing admirably ever since, running 24 hours a day and only now needed some replacement parts.
We were able to assist the customer who ultimately ordered bareshaft replacement units and keep the plant running.
Here’s to another 45 years’ service!
