We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician based at our Head Office in Tiverton. This is a hands on role and we are looking for someone with the right aptitude and attitude.

The IT Infrastructure Technician will work closely with users at all levels at Rotolok and the wider Rotolok Group across the UK and abroad. They will take a lead on maintaining and expanding our current network and supporting remote users to ensure resilience and coverage across Windows, Android and iOS devices.

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working wth IP technologies, VPNs, WANs, VLANs and Wi-Fi.  You will also have experiece of  supporting users and resolving issues.

The main duties of the role will be:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, support and expand our network infrastructure. LANs, WANs, VPNs, VLANs as well as managing NAT and routing, on premise DHCP, DNS and AD.
  • Provide support and advice to users across our key technologies
  • On-premise Active Directory
  • Physical and Hyper-V virtualised Windows Servers
  • Windows PCs, Android Tablets and iOS phones
  • Microsoft 365 Applications
  • Cloud mananged Endpoint Security
  • Multi location ERP system including shop floor data collection
  • Veeam
  • NAS Appliances
  • Liaise with external suppliers and support companies

You will be a team player and have the ability to work using your own initiative. A positive outlook and ‘can do’ approach to tasks is essential.
